Hi my name is Monica, the artist behind Makeup by Monica.
I specialize in elevated, timeless bridal beauty for modern brides who want to feel confident, radiant, and completely themselves on their wedding day. With years of experience and a calm, detailed -focused approach, my goal is to create a seamless, luxurious experience from the first inquiry to the moment you step down the aisle.

Driven by Passion
My love for beauty began early, with a paintbrush, creativity, and a deep appreciation for transformation. What started as a passion for color and expression naturally evolved into something more meaningful: helping women feel confident and beautiful.
Although my career began in the corporate world, my heart always belonged in the beauty industry. From my very first days as an artist, I made it a practice to photograph my work, studying how makeup appears both in person and on camera.
This process has guided my craft over the years, sharpening my eye for balance, dimension, and longevity, and allowing me to create looks that feel effortless in real life and photograph beautifully from every angle.

A licensed esthetician and self-taught makeup artist, I bring a skin-focused, technique-driven approach to beauty. Through continued education and advanced training in NYC & Los Angeles California, my work centers on complexion, balance, and intention—resulting in looks that feel timeless, polished, elevated and modern.
My Approach
One of the things that means the most to me is making sure you actually enjoy your wedding morning. It goes by so quickly, and I never want you to feel rushed or overwhelmed. My job is so much more than makeup and making you feel beautiful. I'm there to keep things organized, help everything flow smoothly, and create a calm, relaxing atmosphere where you can be present and soak it all in.
From the first time we connect until the day you say "I do," I'm here for you. I believe in keeping communication open, staying organized, and making sure you always feel taken care of.

Beautiful skin has always been at the heart of my work. As a licensed esthetician and makeup artist, I focus on creating healthy, radiant skin with natural dimension and seamless coverage that enhances your features instead of hiding them. My goal is for you to look like the very best version of yourself and for your makeup to look just as beautiful at the end of the night as it did when it was first applied.
Since 2015, I've had the privilege of working with over 1,000 brides, creating timeless, personalized makeup that reflects each bride's unique style and vision. Every look is thoughtfully customized and never duplicated because no two brides are ever the same.
Throughout my career, I've also had the opportunity to educate and mentor other makeup artists, sharing the techniques and attention to detail that have become the foundation of my work. It's something I'm incredibly proud of and a responsibility I never take for granted.
