About the Artist
I believe bridal makeup should feel effortless, elevated, and completely you — never overdone, never uncomfortable. My goal is to create a calm, personalized experience while delivering refined, photo-ready makeup that wears beautifully from the first moment to the last.
My love for beauty began early — with a paintbrush, creativity, and a deep appreciation for transformation. What started as a passion for color and expression quickly became about something more meaningful: helping women feel confident, seen, and truly themselves.
Although my career began in the corporate world, my heart always belonged in the beauty industry. I spent years working weddings and events on the weekends before taking the leap and creating Makeup by Monica, LLC.
My Approach
I’m a self-taught artist with a deep respect for technique, skin, and artistry. I regularly travel for advanced education and train in Manhattan, refining an approach that prioritizes complexion, balance, and intention over trends.
My work is rooted in understanding skin at a deeper level — creating dimension, luminosity, and seamless texture that enhances your natural features rather than masking them. This focus on complexion and longevity has become a signature of my work and the foundation of every look I create.
My Signature Style
Since 2015, I’ve had the honor of working with over 1,000 brides, creating elevated bridal and special event makeup that feels timeless, refined, and true to you. I’m best known for my approach to skin — crafting refined looks with seamless coverage, natural dimension, and a finish that wears beautifully from the first moment to the last.
Over the years, my techniques have been studied, taught, and shared within the beauty industry, a reflection of the precision and intention behind my work. Every look is custom-built, never duplicated — designed specifically for your features, your style, and your wedding day vision.
If this feels like the kind of experience you’re looking for, I’d love to connect.
I can’t wait to meet you.
